John King at it again. He shows Obama's disapproval at 27% (compared to Bush's 29% & Clinton's 37%)
and asks John Podesta, "All presidents get a bit of a honeymoon period, but if you look at the last 3 presidents, John Podesta, you served one of those presidents, why is it that almost right off the bat close to a third of the country is against you?"

If he was being honest he'd call 27% "close to a QUARTER of the country." :eyes:

8. John King and David gregory suck
John King is a pompous windbag just trying to make a name for himself. I put David Gregory in the same category. The really big losers, besides them, is the viewers who are receiving misinformation...everyday!

6. Well John King, it is because...
Those people account for the hardcore supporters of your opponents and are never going to like you due to a difference in ideology. However if you were intellectually honest you might point out that Obama's APPROVAL ratings are are at 66-69% which is far higher than Bush or Clinton had at this point.

7. The 27% Dead-enders.
That's sad if King is trying to make something out of this.

I'll take the 63%, fool.

9. That number for Bush was dismiss as sour grapes
Edited on Sun May-03-09 11:50 AM by Hansel
over the Florida "election" debacle. It was just the "far left" being bitter. As usual anything the "FAR right" thinks is cause for concern and anything anyone left of Reagan is dismissed as meaningless.

Yet what? No handicap for being black. John was one of those people who wondered aloud if a black man could be elected president. And even after seeing Palin's rallies, that looked like Klan meetings, and the racist overtones of the Teabagger protests, the real question is "why are his disapproval numbers so low?"

12. Wasn't it John King who was lamenting after the presidential debates
He basically admitted, in so many words, that the instant-polls after the debates where massive numbers of Americans call in to give their opinion of who won (namely, Obama) made it too hard for them to spin the story into "McCain won!". He said it in embellished words, but that was the gist of what he was saying.
