Sebelius Being Blocked
Ya know, I wonder what's REALLY behind the Repukes protesting about Gov. Sebelius' nomination to head up DHHS? The abortion stuff is most likely a smokescreen for someone else. Probably the health insurance and pharmaceutical industries, who DO NOT want any kind of health care reform. So, they call up their pet anti-abortion pastors, tell them to get the troops fired up, and voila! Instant tempest in a teapot!

2. I support Sebelius. President Obama should be able to choose whoever he wants. HE WON.
Idiot Republicans need to get over it.

5. I think this is why the president has been so reluctant to get drawn into...
a partisan fight over torture, because like it or not, the GOP (out of spite) can hold up his appointees, and stall any & all progressive legislation so as to make it appear that he's unable to get anything done. This is all about politics, but most shamefully, it's political blackmail as well.

8. I hope the Kansas Democrats are keeping a journal
When their Republican Senators vote against their very popular Democratic governor,
I hope the DNC gets the footage of it to the Kansas Democratic Party to use again
and again when Roberts and Brownback run for re-election.
