For all those who knew President Obama would do little to restrain torture, block the release of incriminating memo's, obstruct investigation, and stymie the Justice Department, one man, Dick Cheney, had a very different view.

For weeks he's been out, firing his rifle at snow drifts. Most unusual, and we have seen this movie before: The familiar panic of opponent that has been out thought, out maneuvered, charging around erratically before the oncoming avalanche.

Cheney saw it, a real and present danger, and he was right. After a life time in politics, the man had a more a clue than the keyboard warriors. Imagine that.
