Poll: Public disagrees with Cheney.....not so surprisingly
By a wide margin, Americans reject the claim by former Vice President Dick Cheney that Obama administration policies "raise the risk to the American people of another attack," according to a new CNN/Opinion Research poll.

The national poll asked the new president's policies have increased chances of a terrorist strike: 72 percent of those polled answered "No," compared to just 26 percent who responded "Yes."

The survey followed up on a public spat between Cheney and his successor, Vice President Joe Biden.
During a March 15 interview with CNN's John King, Cheney portrayed the Bush administration's war on terrorism as "a great success story" and sharply criticized Obama's initial actions. The new president has ordered an end to torture, and pledges to close the detention center at Guantanamo Bay.

Biden has responded by calling Cheney's allegation "dead wrong" and arguing that Obama policies have made the country "more safe" and "more secure."

The poll, taken April 3-5, displays the country's partisan divisions. Republicans agree with Cheney by a 53-46 margin. The GOP's media echo chamber, FOX News and radio host Rush Limbaugh, have hammered at Obama's terrorism policies.
By contrast, nine out of 10 Democrats in the survey reject Cheney's "raise the risk" argument, as do seven out of 10 of the independents polled.http://blog.seattlepi.com/seattlepolitics/archives/166383.asp?from=blog_last3

2. I see that 26 percent again
About the same amount of people that still approved of Bush even after he basically ran our country into the ground.

Everything Bush touched turned to shit and most of America and the world knows it.

It's almost as if these people were loving the destruction of America.

Sick fucks.

3. This just in...Dick Cheney will now commence...
...a media tour of all network and cable networks--so he can look America straight in the face,
respond to this poll and say..."So".

America to Cheney--"You're a frickin, lying nutjob".

7. When will the GOP learn that as long they keep trotting out these old...
used up, has-beens, they're gonna remain on the outs, with the American people. An old, tired message of "tax cuts" is just not going to win elections going forward.
