Phillies postpone visit to White House
The World Series champion Philadephia Phillies have postponed their planned visit to the White House Tuesday after the sudden death earlier today of longtime broadcaster Harry Kalas.

Kalas, 73, collapsed in the booth as he was preparing for the Phillies-Nationals game tonight in Washington.

He had called Phillies games since 1971 and was an iconic figure for Philly sports fans.

2. Good idea
Showing respect to a man who has been part of their organization for 38 years. Harry's son Todd works for the Ray's network, and I actually got to meet Todd at a game in Arlington while wearing my Devil Rays jersey and cap. Nice guy. I'm really thinking of him and the entire Kalas family.
