I'm confused. Are we supposed to be upset about respect or disrespect of monarchy?

Posters are concerned about Michelle Obama touching the British Queen, against an imagined protocol.

Posters are concerned about President Obama bowing before the Saudi King.

Which is it?

This is feeling all too reminiscent of the primary season, when shit was constantly thrown in hopes that something would stick.

1. You've touched on a very sore subject for me
The fact that we are constantly being told what to think.

That's why I only rarely watch MSM "news" sources.

This week there were a barrage of posts about a man named Paul Krugman. I don't really know who he is, and I think I have had a happier week because of it.

6. I don't have cable,
the only news I watch is NewsHour with Jon Lehrer and BBC, but I get the full play by play by play regurgitation here.

2. I think I can help...
You are supposed to be upset about anything that a Democrat does. And thrilled with anything that a Republican does.

5. I suppose we should be happy that the touching/bowing was the only thing...
the MSM and Repugs found to complain about. Last night's news was a constant replay of Michelle and the Queen's arms, over and over and over again. Surely, one network can find some variation between news programs. MSNBC replayed that clip on every one of their programs and it was like Michelle had contaminated the Queen with her sweet gesture.

Shame on the MSM for milking that cow dry, last night. They need to get a life.
