I'm gonna gush ... GOD I LOVE the President and First Lady
There are many of you that would probably NEVER expect to hear ME say this about Barack Obama a year ago.

But I'm watching OUR President and OUR First Lady on the TV ..... and I am SO PROUD. I am SO HAPPY right now.

Oh and yeah ... I LOVE our Sec of State too!!!

1. I'm not surprised to see you say that.
Because you're sane and mature. I never saw you as the hold a grudge type to Obama or his supporters.

:hi:

2. I'm happy to see you say this!
I've been reading some really depressing threads...

It's quite a change, isn't it? I'm so used to cringing... but I'll get over it.

7. *smooch*
You're making me tear up again, Ronny. I just replied to your thread about Jackie O's and Michelle's overseas visits, too. Rec'd that one, too.

I am SO happy that they're being so well received and that they're doing some good things. I am SO happy that neither one will have bits of bread fall out of their mouths at any luncheons or dinners. I'm SO happy that instead of Bush groping Angela, the Queen actually hugged Michelle and asked her to keep in touch. I'm SO happy that Barack answered reporters and knew what he was talking about and that he was successful in getting France nad China to compromise today.

The Obamas are wonderful representatives of the US. And the cream on top is that Hillary is such a commanding presence, beautiful and accomplished in her own right, and is such a great Secretary of State. We honestly could not be represented by anyone better than these three marvelous people in changing the perception of the US around the world.

13. It is pretty awesome!
I always knew the American people would shake off the apathy that allowed the bush cabal to take power and when they (you) did it would be a very powerful awakening. I am reminded of what Admiral Yamamoto said hours after the Pearl Harbor attack:

" I fear all we have done is awaken a sleeping giant, and filled him with a terrible resolve".

That is what the bush cabal and the repubs did, imo, awoke the sleeping giant.

14. Everything worked out for best.
The 'pugs wanted the whole primary to break us up because they had NOTHING to go up against either Barack or Hillary. But we stood up and told them to shove it. They tried to counter with that dumb fuck Palin. And look what happened. Our nominee WON! He picked Hillary for SOS. And we are making the world better.

20. Today's victory was Hillary's too.
Without her work "behind the scenes" much of what we're gushing at Obama over would not have been possible.

That has not been overlooked by this Obama primary supporter.
