Michelle Obama with her dazzling yet unpretentious charm gives a speech at the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson School for girls in Islington, north London.

Says communities are only as strong as their women... and that being smart is cooler than anything in the world. That young women control their own destiny by getting a good education, and that we're all counting on them to be the best they can be. And that she loves them! And then she gets mobbed!

3. Me too! Peer pressure makes a lot of kids feign a lack of interest in the world

I guess the act of learning requires admitting that you didn't know something, which isn't cool, or something.
That it's cool to be in control of your destiny... a beautiful message for her to promote.

I also had a feeling she'd be around kids today as soon as I saw her outfit... she likes to wear fun unpretentious outfits when she's hangin with the young folks.
