Clark and Bush "A Tale of Two Leaders"
This is a great article comparing "The brainless wonder" to Wes Clark and OOOOOOH, What a comparison it is! It compares how the brainless wonder dealt with Iraq and how Wes, under Clinton, dealt with Kosovo. There's a LOT more to the article than the 4 small paragraphs below. Enjoy!

<snip>
So while the rest of the media may adhere kindly to blacking out any positive news about General Clark, though missing no opportunity to continue their smear campaign against him - and while the media gloats in the “wonderful” moment of Saddam’s capture, the testimony this week given by General Wesley Clark should be celebrated and heralded as the crowning moment on one of the greatest episodes in world history.

His “skill, integrity, and iron determination” set a shining example. The world and the nation can compare these to how Iraq has been handled and see that there clearly is a better, more civilized, decent way to do things.

General Clark is, in fact, not a man of war. Asked recently about how we should deal with Iran, he said, "Something I learned in my years is that you can always find a fight if you are looking for it. The challenge is to win the peace."

Rather than threatening Iran with bombs, he said we should attack them with hip hop music. "I bet you they would love Outkast in Tehran." He then joked, "And no, they aren't broken up, they are just making separate CD's now."<snip>

6. Sometimes I understand
(How Deaniacs got that way.)

This speaks straight to my heart:

"The military industrial complex is bigger and more powerful than it was in Eisenhower's time," Clark said recently at a campaign event. He directly related this fact to the choice of military action taken by the current administration, saying, "In (a place) like Liberia, there is no profit to be made," and so the military industrial complex decides against intervention.

8. Winning peace through hip hop
Clark is so correct. He has nailed it. Our culture and our business relationships help cement peace and global communication.

One division at my company works with young adults from all over the world. These kids love America. They come to New York all starry-eyed and take design and dance classes. They hang out at rock and jazz clubs and pay for personal voice lessons with gospel singers. They buy Yankees jerseys and rollerblade in Central Park. One of these visitors once gave me some of his photos of the U.S. It was an amazing compilation of American culture as seen through the eyes of a foreigner who loves our country.

I want so much for this man to be our next president. He is one of the sharpest people I've ever seen.

9. That quote
gave me a chuckle. "I bet you they would love Outkast in Tehran." I bet he's right!

He is, without a doubt, one of the most amazing men to ever run for the presidency. His intellect, unrivaled. His compassion, heartwarming and his vision for our country, gives me HOPE! He just has to be our president.

12. I must admit
the man has presence! His career accomplishments to date is such a contrast to Bush's lack of any not given him by someone else.

I met the man in Florida during the convention and felt nothing but awe in his ability to show just how sincere he really is, not many can make me believe their every word, but he sure made a believer out of me. This man is the real deal.

If elected, he may not be able to accomplish everything he wants to, but it won't be for lack of trying or commitment, he says what he means and means what he says.

Just food for thought from….”JAFO”
