Coleman Considering Federal Appeal
Norm Coleman (R) is still considering taking his election lawsuit to the federal court if he's unsuccessful in reversing Al Franken's (D) 225-vote lead in the Minnesota courts, according to Politico.

Coleman, why do you want to count the ballots over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over again?

1. Coleman should start considering
a quiet life of self reflection and meditation.

2. The ballots have been counted. The ballots have been recounted
Norm needs to realize at the end of the day, he lost.

He needs to get over it.

3. Reid said (a few weeks ago) that he was confident Al would be seated by April 1st.

4. Of course he is
Mitch McConnell pretty much came right out and said they were funding the fight to keep the Democrats from seating their 59th Senator. Yet one more petty move from those assholes that I think will bite them on the ass in 2010. People are a little sick and tired of the same old shit from the same old republicon party.

10. His trial attorney said HE was finished with the case
He wouldn't be doing the appellate phase. He did go on to say there would probably be an appeal. (This attorney is a well-respected criminal defense specialist in Minnesota, but he wasn't as well suited to trying this kind of case. Norm's other lawyers were even worse.)

7. Hey, wyldwolf, I Have A Complaint . . .
Why did you capitalize coleman's name? To capitalize someone's name makes it a "proper" noun, and denotes some measure of respect. What's up, I thought you were cool?

8. Hopefully the SCOTUS will refuse to take the case. They have NO
business in this. If it goes anywhere it should go to Congress.

9. I don't see them passing up chance to seat a republican senator. There are
7 republican judges in SCOTUS.
