We Could Have Saved the Economy
If we had just invested Social Security into the Stock Market!

Now we'll save it by subsidizing broken bankers with federal funds.

Wait, is there a difference?

1. Just imagine if bu$h had managed to do that
Think we are screwed now? Just imagine the SS had gone down that rat hole.

Makes me think this whole thing was planned and they wanted it all meaning Social Security as well as everything else.

2. They are getting it one way or another
Where do you think this trillion dollars is going to come from that they are using to buy toxic assets.

5 years from now we'll hear how we need to end entitlement programs to take care of our debt situation.

5. Yep
The trillion here isn't really even here. It's all rolled up in that thing we call The Great American Debt.

Every man woman and child owes somewhere in the 'hood of $22,000 already. Lets hope and pray our kids are hard ass workers and can make and pay it back in time before it becomes a toxic asset, too.

Actually, inflation is about the only we ever get even. Kids, can you say Inflation?

3. They saw it coming
Who didn't? Ignored, yes, but the handwriting has been on the wall for years.

Obama, of course, saw it, and if he'd talked much about it, he wouldn't be where he is today. People don't want the truth, they wanted GWB.

Now Obama's got the weight of the world on him.

Gotta log off.
