Expectations: One thing made clear by all the criticism of Obama
Edited on Sun Mar-22-09 12:36 AM by ProSense
The success or failure of America's recovery is in his hands. He's still the President, and has acknowledged that he is where the buck stops. He'll get the credit or the blame for the outcome.

If he succeeds, it'll be like winning the Presidency all over again.

edited typo.

1. This is news?
I think he'll fail becuz the Democrats are gutless. They will find a way to screw this up. He should've left Clinton in the Senate, he could use a few more dems with a backbone on his side in the Senate.

4. Yeah, all we needed was
"Clinton in the Senate" to show them.

Hillary was a member of the DLC leadership. It's possible she'd have been a member of Bayh's coalition. Seriously, she's better off at State.

6. Yeah, come to think of it
Clinton would've sold him out too. Its just sickening how democrats turn on each other. The GOP waited till Bush was out of office before they dared to criticize him. Amd they still take it easy on him. Then the Dems helped him pass all of his dumb policies, now they try to pretend they had nothing to do with it. Sickening.

5. Expectations are high with this President.
Its kind of funny to me though how low the bar was set for Bush by some in the media.
