Drunk as a skunk every morning on national TV, and admits to it regularly. Maybe, just maybe, she's not drunk and pilled out, but is just going along with some sort of running gag. In my estimation, that makes her even more culpable as a sell out to women journalists all over the world.

What self respecting woman journalist would allow themselves to be portrayed every single morning as a drunken, pill poppin' moron on national TV?

What is she thinking? She has minor children, and a host of young women watching that are trying to break into national news watching her train wreck every morning. Get a grip. You should seek professional help and be ashamed of yourself.

The few times I have seen her she has appeared loopy. It would not surprise me that she does drink in the morning, but it would surprise me if she admitted it. And yes, if she does joke about getting drunk, she must have a problem with either alcohol or judgment.

The constant kidding about it suggests she does it routinely. It sounds as if she has a "hair of the dog" need, which would mean she has to have a certain level of alcohol in her system to get by. That's hardcore.

I don't watch the show much any more. I watched it mainly during the campaign. It is an almost daily theme on the show, and she's never acted as if the talk about her drinking is untrue.

BTW I was at a Christmas Party in my hood. One of the "buddy moms" was wearing those low-rider jeans and squatted down to talk with some people who had chairs. OMG! Yes, she had the body for it but seeing 45 y.o. "butt cleavage" didn't even do it for the men at the party. A couple of them offered her a chair but she refused it ... continuing to show off her wares. Damn, that's just SAD? :(

the way that she CHOOSES to carry herself and she shares her worries with me. Now, I have no doubt that I don't hear everything. However, I know that she has an engaging personality that she will always be able to draw on when she too is OLDER.

It's so sad to see these former beauty queens (ex. Palin) who have always depended on their physical charms to carry them through. When their looks fade they still attempt the flirty ploys ... it's creepy to watch and I feel sort of sad for their lack of awareness. If things come too easy for you because you're beautiful, often times you don't bother to develop any true sense of empathy toward others.
