This is dated 3/9/09. Said he read and read about what AIG does, but he still didn't understand it although he tried. That's our "Journalists"! :sarcasm: Guess he understand Bonuses much better. :eyes:

3. He's the White House Correspondent for MSNBC.....
That's why we won't hear much about the real issue of AIG....just about the bonus part. :(

7. Yeah, but he was with Hotline before that.
He did those little updates during Washington Journal now and again giving the inside scoop in DC. That's all i was saying. He might be at MSNBC now but still is a Capitol dude. Was it called Hotline? or The Hill or something? Ah well, don't mind me, I'm just a babbling c-span junky who's not always that awake in the morning...

2. This is scary news. But I would add that 99% of Congress doesn't know what they do either AND
even scarier, I bet 75% of AIG employees couldn't give a cogent answer as well. It's very convuluted and the only thing we can hope for is more regulation in the future.

4. If your numbers are correct, and I think you are probably close
Who can write any kind of reasonable regulation. How can you regulate something that you don't understand?

5. That's what we should be having hearings about....
But no! Let's not learn anything, let's just be outraged and try for the gotchas, cause we ain't got shit else to do.

6. There are plenty of people, but I hope that Congress defers to the experts in the administration
on this... or brings a lot experts in to help them out. I was disappointed by the questioning that I saw from committte members today, but then again, I didn't watch the entire hearing.
