My "Unsafe with Team Bush" LTTE also makes it to print
Edited on Tue Mar-17-09 08:39 AM by NewJeffCT
Same paper as my other LTTE this week. Thanks to Will Pitt for having used the "Team Bush" name for years, which I have used in many LTTE submissions. My other LTTE is here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=8266504&mesg_id=8266504

UNSAFE WITH TEAM BUSH

In response to “IGNORANCE:” Since when did the Bush Administration make the country safer? It was on their watch that the World Trade Center disaster happened. It was on their watch that the anthrax attacks happened. It was on their watch that thousands of U.S. troops were killed in a pointless war in Iraq. It was on their watch that the city of New Orleans was almost wiped off the map. It was on their watch that dozens of family planning clinics were attacked. It was on their watch that worldwide terrorist attacks skyrocketed to yearly levels that were higher than entire decades before Team Bush came into office. It was on their watch that terrorist organizations were able to recruit record numbers of new terrorists. Anybody who thinks we were made safer by George Bush and his cronies is the one who is ignorant.

3. Great LTTE.
The people who keep on with this RWTP of "No attacks since 9/11" don't seem to get that they're pushing a fallacy of cause and effect.

CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP

"Why are you clapping?"

"DUH! To keep the TIGERS from attacking me, of course."

"But . . . there aren't any tigers anywhere."

"Damn, this clapping thing's working better than I thought."

SAME damned thing.

Yet the worst terrorist attack on American soil happens on BEWSH'S watch (and arguably, with BEWSH's foreknowledge . . . I mean, what, only 11 or more nations warned him no less than 40 times) and they still don't see the disconnect . . . they still don't see how absolutely DUMB the whole "becauz of Bush, no terrst attcks sins 9/11" statement is.

Unreachable and in fairy tale land until the end times, I guess.
