Another Post On First Read That Will Probably Be Censored
I submitted the following post on MSNBC's First Read. Right now, for the week ahead, First Read is showing mostly anti-Obama posts. I don't see how the rants they display are any more reasonable than the following:

* * *

The media pretty much helped cheer on the Iraq war push by the Bush administration. The media (CNBC types) also hyped the stock market despite obvious signs and warnings by Schiller, Roubini and Buffet that the housing market driven economy during the Bush years was built on a bubble.

Now, you have entire networks like CNBC and Fox trying to blame the entire economic mess on the Obama administration less than 60 days into his Presidency.

Shouldn't the press examine itself and its role in causing the current economic mess? Shouldn't the press examine whether its corporate sponsors and advertisers affect its objectivity?

The "liberal" media myth just strikes me as a huge cover-up for the profit bias of corporate owned media. When will a major media outlet actually address the elephant in the room?

In the near term, will MSNBC/CNBC address reports the NBC ordered NBC produceds to censor stories regarding Jim Cramer's appearance on Jon Stewart?

1. MSNBC is censoring stuff against Cramer because of business reasons
This is how big corporate media functions in 2009. Keep up the good fight though, Median Dem!

2. Russians live in this country say that our media is worse than theirs was
Because at least in the Old Soviet Union, no one believed what Pravda said.

And although we are taught that we have freedom of speech, in reality, what the Public believes is whatever agenda Big Money Interests pushed on the captive audience. This is especially true of those who rely on Television news.

4. Even though CNBC is really Republican, etc.
To be fair, I can't think of a single one who blames our economic troubles on Obama. I watch CNBC, and they all have different spins, and some of them may be Democrats, even. But I haven't even heard the worst of them, Larry Kudlow, blaming the economic woes on Obama.
