Meghan McCain: Press lets Obama get away with everything!
Heh, I feel guilty posting this sort of because, her opinion is not even relevent, and there are bigger issues out there as we know. But I just thought it was really funny. What does she want, more questions on those evil earmarks? I know that she probably sees things through a daughter's prism, but the press corps usually seems pretty pissed off at Robert Gibbs to me. I read somewhere that she is going on Rachel's show tonight, anyone know if that's true?

Earlier today, the Columbia Journalism Review reported on how their bloggiest of alumni, Meghan McCain, went onto the Hannity show and straight up called the entire White House Press Corps on the carpet, oh yes indeedy!

"I think the problem is the press corps lets him get away with it. The press corps sits around -- I recognize a lot of the faces sitting there. They are sitting there and letting him get away with it. They don't call him out because the media lets everyone in the Obama administration get away with everything, their love affair with him. It's exhausting. Call him out."

2. Ummm... Meghan. What is "everything"?
I'm sure the answer would be something along the lines of, "like totally everything. You know, everything."

4. get away with what?
the shock & awe of a nation and a people that had nothing to do with the attacks on the US and that posed no threat to our security?

what is the press supposed to call him on?

5. yeah, I don't really get it either.
I seem to remember the press corps going batshit crazy over Blago gate, bipartisanship, tax cuts.....in other words, really stupid things. But things that they were pretty criticial of Obama for. I feel like the McCains are going to be complaining about liberal bias for years. Which is ironic, considering many always accused the press of having a love affair with MCCAIN and letting him get away with everything.

11. The press has been all over Obama since he won the election
he was faulted with things even before he took office.

Though I'm not thrilled with the slow withdrawal from Iraq and the up to 50,000 troops to remain, at least Obama hasn't invaded a nation yet, he just won't get out of them quickly enough for my taste. That said, I do realize there is more to leaving Iraq and Afghanistan than just pulling out.

10. I truly believe that this young misguided lady thinks that she has some kind of
future in political commentary the way she's been running around flapping her jaw.

Really, all she's doing is embarrassing herself.

And I certainly hope that Rachel is not lowering her standards by having "this one" on her show -- I don't care if it's to bash Coulter a little more or not.

12. I GUESS MEG IT WAS OK WHEN YOU DADDY SAID THAT THE MEDIA WAS HIS BASE.
IE DON'T THINK THAT THE PRESIDENT HAS BEEN HAVING AN EASY TIME OF IT. STOP BEING JEALOUS. IT DOESN'T BECOME YOU. YOU HAVE BECOME YOUR DADDY'S DAUGHTER IN THAT YOU ARE ANGRY. DON'T BE ANGRY AT OBAMA FOR YOUR DADDY'S FAILURES. HE DOESN'T HAVE THE RIGHT TEMPERMENT TO BE PRESIDENT AND WE NOW KNOW HE DIDN'T HAVE THE COUNTRIES GOOD WILL IN THE FIRST PLACE BY LETING PALIN RUN AS HIS SECOND. SO GO HOME AND FIND YOUR NEW MAN. YOU SAID YOU WANTED SOMEONE ON THE EXTREME RIGHT. SO GO AND LEAVE THE REST ALONE.

That she's the daughter of a POW?

Shouldn't she be busy trying to improve her love life?
