Let me just remind you, Cramer was talking up Bear Sterns as a strong stock less than a week before its collapse. Jon Stewart did a great job last night showing clips off all these CNBC guys over the past 2 years and how WRONG they consistently they are.

Finally, my response to Cramer, Santelli, and the rest of the stooges on CNBC: the GOP party is looking for candidates for 2012. If you think you know what policies are best for the country - maybe you should run.

3. I agree with one thing he said

We need to quit demonizing all bankers. My sister works at a bank as a Service Manager and makes $40,000 a year in Minneapolis. Her bonus (which is not that high) is intentionally tied to non financial goals. She was to get her bonus 2 weeks ago from tomorrow. She was notified on the Wednesday before that since they took TARP money and she is considered an executive (as she is in "management"), they could not issue bonuses. Sorry, but she is at the very income level we are trying to help out and she just got boned because she happens to work at a bank.

6. I agree, but bonuses are often a tricky way to avoid payroll tax as much as they are rewards.

Traditionally, people would get raises and promotions for good performance.

It is included in her W-2 earnings. I know this, as I am a tax CPA and do her taxes for her.

5. I had only seen Jim Cramer's show a few times

(though I see him all the time on the Today show, MSNBC shows, etc). I watched last night, and it really was ridiculous. I knew that his whole bit was being obnoxious and outrageous, but I didn't know that he used the red scare buzzwords like all the other assholes. Obama is a communist, the commander in chief is a Leninist, Bolshevik leaning,etc.
