Operation Rush in full effect
And I'm loving every minute of it. Emanuel, Kaine, Plouffe, Begala, Carville are all over this shit. By the end of the week, America will think Rush Limbaugh is the GOP's 2012 candidate.

I keep thinking of Larry Flynt, and how he had to dive to the depths of the pond. But look what he found when he got to the bottom. Bottom feeders like Falwell.

6. Obama should never even mention his name IMO.
The surrogates are doing the effective job for him.

4. Finally, the Democrats control the media narrative.
And they are beginning to push this narrative.

They have learned a lesson in message control from the Pukes.

9. Nice to see some great strategy by the Dems
We have finally gotten the Repukes against the wall and they either have to stand up to Rush or bow down to him-either way its creating a split in their party!

15. They either have to stand up to rush
or go down with him. It is about time that the Dems busted the lying, bigoted, hatemonger out from under his rock.

I just saw President Obama on my local tv talking doing away with no bid contracts and opening it up to government and small businesses that will save the taxpayers about $40 Million a year..not chickenfeed.

8. Gold Rush: Dems launch Operation Rushbo
Gold Rush: Dems launch Operation Rushbo

http://news.yahoo.com/s/politico/20090304/pl_politico/19596

snip

The strategy took shape after Democrats included Limbaugh’s name in an October poll and learned their longtime tormentor was deeply unpopular with many Americans. Then the conservative talk-radio host emerged as an unapologetic critic of Barack Obama shortly before his inauguration, when even many Republicans were showering him with praise.

snip

Paul Begala, a close friend of Carville, Greenberg and White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, said they found Limbaugh’s overall ratings were even lower than the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Obama’s controversial former pastor, and William Ayers, the domestic terrorist and Chicago resident who Republicans sought to tie to Obama during the campaign.

snip

“I hope he fails,” Limbaugh said of Obama on his show four days before the president was sworn in. It was a time when Obama’s approval ratings were soaring, but more than that, polls showed even people who didn’t vote for him badly wanted him to succeed, coming to office at a time of economic meltdown.

snip

“He kicked this into full-gear at CPAC by reiterating it,” said a senior White House official of Limbaugh.

By Sunday morning, Emanuel elevated the strategy by bringing up the conservative talker, unprompted, on CBS’s “Face the Nation” and calling him the “the voice and the intellectual force and energy behind the Republican Party.”

snip

I love this article!

14. Limpballs is taking the bait.
Naturally, his ego and his love of ratings will keep him in the thick of it. He is embracing the label of leader of the goppers, much to the chagrin of the repukes on the Hill, I am sure.

18. The division is beautiful.
That is the real question.

Who will win the fight within their fractured party? Those who want to go hard right or those who want to take it to the middle?

It will keep them neutered as a party, at least through 2010, and likely beyond 2012. Limpballs thinks the Dems want to destroy his party. He is right, and we will.

Apparently Obama will be debating candidate Rush as early as 2011.
