We should force the 2012 GOP nominee to either embrace Limbaugh or reject and denounce him

In the last campaign the other side liked to say that associations matter, that you should be judged by the company you keep. Fine.

We should force their nominee, whoever it is, into a box concerning Limbaugh. Surrogates for president Obama should badger their nominee with lines like "Do you reject and denounce Limbaugh? Huh? Do you repudiate him? Hmm? Huh?"

So now the GOP has two choices. The Republican nominee can reject and denounce Limbaugh, and thereby alienate a big chuck of the party's electoral base, and some of them then may not be real big on making to the polls to vote for their nominee. OR the Republican nominee can embrace Limbaugh, which would satisfy the party base, but alienate just about everyone else.

2. Why wait until 2012? Hammer it now. If DEMS let this one slide, then they are the idiots.

This is the gift that keeps on giving. Rush will be history by 2012 if this is played right.

"You do? Did you find it honest or ethical when he said this: (insert whatever Rush said that day here)?"

"So you say Rush is just an entertainer? That's not what Jindal and the RNC said. They said he holds a quote "leadership" role. Who is right, you or Jindal & the RNC?"

"The RNC has acknowledged Rush as having "leadership" over the party. Exactly what is Rush's 'leadership' role and in what way does he guide or lead you personally?"

No matter how these questions are answered, its a win win for us.
