Does anyone have that beautiful oval office picture of Michelle Obama?
Can someone please post that recent picture that the WH just release of Michelle in the Oval Office? (black sleevless dress / white pearls)

I was telling my wife what an awesome picture this was and she wanted to see it in larger format that I've been able to find.

5. It's actually the Blue Room
That's not the Oval Office, it appears to be the Blue Room, the oval shaped room on the main floor of the White House. (The Oval Office is not actually in the White House, it's in the West Wing.)

According to legend, George Washington had oval rooms where he would meet people in NYC and Philadelphia (in the early days of the nation, before the government was moved to the new city of Washington), and so the White House was built with an oval room in the center of the building. While Washington was the one president who never lived in the White House, much of the building was created to his specifications and tastes.

In the 19th century, the presidents would hold an open house on New Year's Day, and traditionally they would greet people in what's now called the Blue Room.
