What's the GOP So Pissed About??
They are ranting and wailing (especially at that Jerk-off Jamboree they call CPAC. Are they pissed:

A. that they spent the country into oblivion for their bogus war and all sorts of other stuff?

B. that they looked the other way while their fellow criminals on Wall Street drove the country/world off a cliff?

C. that Obama won..as in whipped their ass good?

D. that they lost Congressional seats so badly because they did both A and B and then selected a deranged old man and an airheaded bimbo as their candidate and thought they could pull one on the American people again?

What the hell is with these extreme mentally ill clowns (there are psyc terms for people like this). Jeees, they act like "we was robbed". NO, just the opposite---WE, the people were robbed, and raped and pillaged. Will someone buy these delusional assholes a mirror!!!

6. Also...
Their ability to steal has been seriously hindered. They weren't able to get the last few pennies that were left in the Treasury before they were given the boot.

7. They got into power by stoking fear of "the other:"
Black people, progressive people, non-rich people, foreign-born people. Now that "the other" has the upper hand, their deepest fears have come true and they're literally losing their minds.

They're also whittling away at their shrinking base with scary whacko behavior like what's been on display this last week.

And, wouldn't ya know it, UGH! THE PEOPLE CAME OUT TO VOTE! All that sabotage, down the drain... mmm mm mm...

12. I'm glad they're acting so crazy
maybe the "normal" people (i.e. non-wacko repubs) will finally see how mentally ill those people are and will start moving even closer to at least the center. I look forward to the time when most of America (at least 90 percent) realizes what delusional morons extreme right-wingers are.

The GOP is left with smoke, mirrors and hissy fits. They're becoming more and more desperate as it becomes evident that they have no real prospects or strategy to advance their party.

21. They think the should get their way all the time...and still...
so now they through temper tantrums and whine and cry all the time. Even though the only thing the have to show for their right years is failure after failure, they live in a bubble of denial about it all and still think, by their own self induced delusions, that the are entitled to get their way.

They lost in a land slide, to a (half)black guy, and it really burns their asses. Repukes are also fucking idiots and that has to be added into the equation too.

Simple.

They think they are mainstream. It never occurs to them that they are extremist wingnuts that are not really mainstream at all.

They believe the majority of the US agrees with them and that anyone who doesn't is too stupid for words.

27. They are pissed that their two economic sacred cows they've upheld for decades
Edited on Sun Mar-01-09 01:04 PM by 4lbs
aren't producing and have actually severely damaged the economy.

Those being "tax cuts for the wealthy" and "full deregulation of all industry".

Now that they have been exposed, they have no new ideas, so they just do fist-shaking at other ideas.

These are the same people that believed that giving tax cuts to the wealthiest 2 or 3 percent would create millions of jobs. Instead, millions of jobs went overseas, and hundreds of billions of dollars went overseas into offshore accounts and not into the American economy.

These are the same people that believed that full deregulation would spur a wave of competition, benefitting all. Instead, it created an atmosphere of merger after merger, industry market consolidation into the hands of a few companies, and ignoring the economic risks of any business scheme or practice.

After all, these are the same people who can look the August 6, 2001 PDB directly in front of them, and still state that there was no way to know that OBL and Al-Qaeda were targeting America.

32. Well let's see...
A. that they spent the country into oblivion for their bogus war and all sorts of other stuff?

They have selective memory and forgot who was in charge for the last 8 years.

B. that they looked the other way while their fellow criminals on Wall Street drove the country/world off a cliff?
Well the Repugs were making money off of Wall street and their cash cow just drowned in a lake.

C. that Obama won..as in whipped their ass good?

Psst...did you hear....the Repugs got beat by a Highly intelligent Black man.

D. that they lost Congressional seats so badly because they did both A and B and then selected a deranged old man and an airheaded bimbo as their candidate and thought they could pull one on the American people again?

They have no select Rush to be their defacto leader and they think they can do better...

Marginlizing an entire party is hard work and they are pissed they have to work so hard.

34. They had to discard the Clinton playbook
Edited on Sun Mar-01-09 06:42 PM by Wise Child
They were thinking of Hillary Clinton as an electoral failsafe. They had an epic smear campaign in mind. They thought that eight years of Bill Clinton, and then some, crammed into the Summer and Autumn would do the trick. And that Hillary would be especially polarizing.

They didn't think someone so charismatic would show up. They didn't think the Black candidate would have such broad appeal.
