Rush Limbaugh - How Quickly They Forget Their Praise Of Dubya
It is funny how Republicans at CPAC are now all trying to portray themselves as opposed to George Bush, rather than as active participants in the eight years of mis-management that has brought our country to its knees. However, while conservatives try to re-write history, and declare that Dubya was not a true conservative, remember the fawning words of Rush Limbaugh:

Long after we’re all dead and gone, when historians who are not yet born begin to write about this era, they’re going to place George Bush in the upper echelon of presidents who had a great vision for America, who looked beyond our shores, who didn’t just restrict himself to domestic policy niceties.”

/snip

Also, here's this nugget where Dunya and family call Rush in August 2008 to congratulate him:

Limbaugh was going along today, doing his radio show as usual, when producers started waving their arms frantically trying to get his attention. It seemed POTUS was on the line from Kennebunkport, Me. He and his father (Bush 41) and his brother Jeb (former governor of Florida) were calling to congratulate the conservative broadcaster on his 20 years on the air.

You can listen to the broadcast in its entirety at KTRH-AM in Texas. Or you can read the whole thing here. We imagine the reason the tape has not yet popped up on YouTube is that is was singularly lacking in the biting, mean-spirited, politically pointed invective for which Limbaugh is known and loved by millions.

2. Limbaugh wants to dump Chimpy and embrace Reagan
The fat, lying, Oxycontin addicted Rush Limbaugh is putting some distance between his loyal followers in the Reich Wing and Bush.

I take this as an indication of an attack path to the Republicans. Couple the Republicans to Bush at every opportunity. He is like a splinter in their eye.

5. George Orwell really understood the dynamics of the right
In his book 1984 there was the "two minute hate" where every one gathered around a TV screen to vent their hate on the enemy and right in the middle of hating one they suddenly switched to another and no one even questioned the change.
That speaks to the state of the right wing followers minds...bush is a hero then and now not so much, and his followers will never think of the change for what it really is.

6. Rush once cried and whined that he was not going to carry Shrub's water for him
anymore. However, Limpballs fails to forget that he kissed the man's ass for years. Sorry, Rush but we all get that you loved Bush.
