Ed Schultz is talking about his star position last night next to Helen Thomas.
He sounds pretty excited and wishes it was for good. He plans to request credentials for each press conference that comes up.

He and his wife are going to have dinner with Helen.

5. Helen said that if he was called on, that he should stand and take his time.
She said, "It was all about being on camera."

7. Just seeing Helen in her rightful place again
was good enough...then "B-Rock the Islamic Shock"* put a verbal smart bomb right down the GOP's throat - LOVED it!

*Yes, I KNOW he's not Islamic, but that's too good a moniker not to use at least once...

18. Bring 'em on...
And I'll tell them ALL my accusations about Obama.
For example, he:
-let the dogs out
-wrote the book of love
-knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men
-shot J.R.
-WAS that masked man with the silver bullets
-pissed in my oatmeal
-sank my battleship
-drank...my...MILKSHAKE! HE DRANK IT UP!

:D

11. He was given an up front seat because of his support he gave during the campaign.
He is talking about it now - saying Fox News is outraged with his "seat"! Good for Ed. If you haven't listened to him he had supported Obama 100% throughout the campaign.

Edited on Tue Feb-10-09 12:32 PM by Captain Hilts
Man, would we be reaming a Republican prez if they did that.

We're better than they are. Press conferences aren't for supporters.

25. It's a 'press' conference. If GWB had had Limbaugh sitting there, we'd be going berserk...
and rightfully so.

We're the Good Guys and we hold ourselves to higher standards.

Bush welcomes right-wing talkers to the West Wing

By DAVID HINCKLEY
DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER

http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/tv/2007/08/02/2007-08-02_bush_welcomes_rightwing_talkers_to_the_w-2.html

Mark Levin was part of White House visit.

Radio Dial

For the second year in a row, President Bush called some of his closest radio friends to the White House for an off-the-record briefing and discussion.

Mark Levin and Sean Hannity of WABC (770 AM) were among the 10 conservative talk-radio hosts who met with Bush in the West Wing yesterday, according to Talkers magazine.

The others were Glenn Beck, Neal Boortz, Hugh Hewitt, Scott Hennen, Bill Bennett, Michael Medved, Lars Larsen and Janet Parshall.

Bush met with five hosts last fall, including Boortz, Hannity and Medved, Talkers noted, "to discuss issues and gauge the conservative talk-radio audience's feelings about issues and policies."

.......

I hope they give Ed a permanent sit! Sorry to me Ed is one of only a very few "reporters" who lean left! If you don't think he is a reporter then you haven't listened to his show. If Faux News can send someone to the Press Conference why the H shouldn't Ed be there too? You really think they report the NEWS?

ROFL!

yesterday...it was said so fast I had to rethink it for a minute to really understand the reference...said it right about the time he announced he would be at the press conference.
