Biden: "Did you guys do something wrong?" (returns from Munich trip)
I adore this man. Thank you Dick Cheney for being so evil so we can appreciate Joe Biden even more!

Pool Report #6

After leaving Munich in early afternoon, the VP made a refueling stop at RAF Mildenhall, a British air base with 4,000 US servicemen and women. A dozen or so Air Force personnel and their families had assembled in the departure lounge to for an informal meet and greet with the VP. He mingled, shaking hands and making chit-chat. "Did you guys do something wrong to come out here and greet me on a Sunday?" he joked. He mentioned just having left Munich and giving a foreign policy speech at the security conference. "It seemed to be greeted pretty well," he told the small gathering. "I think the world is ready for a new look…There's a real sense of excitement at President Obama…We've got a tough road ahead of us with the economy." He asked if anyone had questions and none were forthcoming. "With the press here, they're looking at me to say something wrong. I'm only kidding, guys. I never say anything wrong…I just want to say thank you for all you do."

Air Force Two arrived back at Andrews a little before 7 pm. VP boarded Marine Two

1. I've always appreciated Joe Biden
Right after September 11th, he was the one guy I trusted to give us the most accurate and un-sugar coated information without any bullshit. I'm not saying he was always given the right info all the time, or that he made decisions I always agreed with, but he seemed to want to share the truth with the American people, and I think that's why he is great on this team. He is a really knowledgeable fellow.

4. Leaders who smile?

What the hell is this?

I thought leaders were supposed to snarl and look like they're smuggling ten pounds of granite in their colon.

I'm confused.

5. Joe gives me lots of laughs.
I love him. "With the press here, they're looking at me to say something wrong. I'm only kidding, guys. I never say anything wrong." Lulz. The man is too freaking funny and he makes fun of himself. What is not to love?

10. We're pretty happy about it over here, too!
It's a relief. I felt very embarrassed whenever any of the former regime visited Europe and I'm glad Biden got around so early in the Obama administration.

8. Happiness is Just a Thing Called Joe.
yes that is a real song by Harold Arlen. He wrote a few other songs you may have heard of, like all the songs in The Wizard of Oz, and Stormy Weather.
