Just a thought: Everybody needs the right enemy
Just a thought from singer/songwriter - David Ippolito.

Controversial? Nah...

Irresponsible? Nope...

Just a thought. Just basic sense. (Something sorely lacking these days.)

Think... slow down and think...

Clear your mind for a moment, breathe deeply, and imagine YOU are a member of Al Qaeda.

Imagine that your long-term goal is the downfall of the United States. You can plainly see that this mighty American administration of hawks and "cold warriors" have divided the world. You know that MOST of the free world resents George W. Bush and his arrogance. You would love for the whole world to feel the same way about all Americans. (Right now, most nations still admire American values, but clearly can't stand the current president.) You can see that, by mindlessly invading Iraq, George Bush has alienated his allies, inflamed the Muslim world, divided his own country and spread the US military paper thin, attacking Iraq before rebuilding and securing Afghanistan, or securing their own homeland ports.

Imagine that YOU are a member of Al Quaeda, or any of the splintered Islamic fundamentalist groups that yearn or the destruction of America and world order.

Now, a question...

.

.

Who would you like to see in the White House?

.

.

A man who promises to reach out to Europe and Asia to reform and repair alliances in fighting global terrorism.

Or, a fake cowboy who doesn't read much, and has steadfastly made every move you'd wanted him to.

.

If Osama Bin Laden could vote... he'd vote for Bush.

.

Make sense?

1. The evidence is clear:
1. Bush was told bin Laden was getting ready to hit America, but did nothing.

2. Bin Laden attacked us on our own soil, killing 3,000 people, and Bush failed to bring him to justice.

3. Bush had bin Laden cornered in Tora Bora, but let him walk away.

4. Bin Laden warned his followers that America was out to take over Arab states. Bush made the prediction come true.

5. Bin Laden wanted to splinter the West, pitting old allies against each other. Bush went right along with the plan.

6. Bin Laden boasted he would "cleanse the Islamic holy land of infidels." Bush complied by ordering US forces out of Saudi Arabia and urging Americans to flee the Saudi peninsula.

7. Bin Landen boasted he could bring down a superpower just like Russia in Afghanistan. Bush has us bogged down in Iraq, unable to get control despite all our military strength.

George W. Bush is the best thing that ever happened to Osama bin Laden. There's no question bin Laden benefits if Bush is re-elected: four more years of America playing into the terrorists' hands at every turn.

3. Inarguable logic
Why isn't anyone in the mainstream pointing this out?

Osama bin Laden's best ally in his cause has been, unwittingly but quite literally, George W. Bush.
