Did you know - Kerry would keep 98% of the existing Tax Cuts.....?
That only the top 2% are the ones that are affected by his tax rebate on on the rich.

Furthermore... a couple earning $190,000/yr would pay THE SAME under Kerry vs Bush.

I share this because soo many people are "brainwashed" into thinking Kerry will raise taxes on them vs Bush. Understand the facts.

This information was in the WSJ today page A20.

1. Thanks for posting that.

10. it's even more favorable for Kerry when you factor in the diff. in the
health care differences.

Medicare and prescription drug voters...there is no comparison.

4. No one knows what the top 2% IS!
I HATE HATE HATE that they don't make this clear.

WHY don't they say people making over X?!

Every time I hear this I want to scream.

Most Republicans I've ever met think they ARE in the top 2%, that they make more than most people. They don't know that their measly $100K or so is small potatoes.

7. WSJ - August 26, 2004 (page D2) Has a Tax comparison Chart
There really is NOT a difference until you (as a couple)earn about $500,000 / yr. and there's only about a 6% difference at that.

A single person once thay are earning up to $275,000 yr would see a $2,500 diff.

We are talking very small potatoes for the very wealthy vs. a ZERO difference for 98% of us!!!!!!!!!!!

9. Another $35 a Month
That's what I've seen from Bush's tax cuts. Big fuckin' deal, another dollar and change per day. That'll get me far.

Roughly speaking, someone making ten times what I make will see an additional $350 a month. That's a new car. And someone making 100 times what I make will see an additional $3500 a month. That could be a new house. But of course, the person making that kind of money wouldn't be caught dead living in a house that cost $3500 a month, now would they?

Tax cuts are for the wealthy, don't let them fool ya'.

15. Yeah, right. And then the deficit would be even GREATER.
Reagan proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that tax cuts cause a sky-rocketing federal deficit.

Even Bush I called it "voo doo economics."

17. Listen, I am just sharing what Kerry says in his plan. Keeping JOBS
here is not a bad plan. Taking away tax breaks for those who violate that is OK.

The savings come from "taking away" the tax break for the Wealthy...and he wants to blance the budget..so read the article.

18. Is this some sort of way for an making a endorsement of the chimpy economy
The title statement is kind of misleading. Further more I think many of poorer folks didn't get much of a tax break once the state and locals RE-passed the buck on the tax cuts. However infinitesimal them tax cuts were for us salary challenged individuals, most of us probably didn't notice that much after paying for the extra rolls of duck tape for safety to guard against four year old intelligence on Terra plots. I think JFK's biggest asset is he is not Bush

23. If I was down to my last dime I would still vote for Kerry
Some people are just trying to make enough cash for next months rent payment. A lot them kind of people are feeling worn out or cheated and don't think it will serve them to be interested on the goings on politically. They don't make or understand the connections on what is happening and how it does or might effect them.

When you got two jobs and a family it's hard to stay current on anything. To keep up with declining incomes and rising prices (denied by government) people are doing all kinds of things to keep up. This all part of the chimpy economy. Personally,I am doing okay but I know lots of people that are not.

Got to go to work at my only job now :hi:

He has the same income tax plan as awol does for 98% of America. Do any of the network news assholes tell you this --- NOPE!

I can't believe how many of you are saying you didn't know this already.

Blame yourselves. Kerry has said it quite a few times over the months, made it very clear. Actually, I think he should go further as a sound political strategy to appeal to indy/Dem voters but this has certainly been no secret.

32. 46 percent
ovf the 2.6 trillion dollars that were given out by the Bush tax cuts goes to the top two percent of all tax payers (those who have a net income of 200,000 dollars or over) Just repealing the tax cuts for those who earn 200,000 or over would provide a net gain of over 1 trillion dollars to pay for Kerry's proposed agenda. The tightening up of the tax loopholes to corporations who outsource jobs as well as the tightening of a few other loopholes would provide more than the additional trillopn dollrs that Kerry would need to pay for other parts of his agenda.
