I've re- claimed the Yellow Ribbon, the Flag, and the Democratic
Edited on Wed Sep-15-04 03:22 PM by madmax
Party. Today I bought all of the above and a sheet of magnetic stuff (?) I have my Kerry for President bumper sticker. Applied the bumper stickers, the Flag, and my 'This year I'm voting Democratic' bumper sticker to the magnetic sheet cut them to size and applied them to the back of my car.

Looks great. The Support our troops ribbons on each side of the trunk, Kerry for President next to the ribbon on the rear drivers side and This year I'm voting Democratic with the American Flag next to that rear passenger side.

Bang Zooooom - Take that you Pugs. :bounce: :bounce:

3. Damn right they don't own the flag or yellow ribbons
And I love associating Kerry with the Troops. War Hero vs. Zero.

2. cool I want a support our troops sticker...because
I think the flag/and the military have somehow been hijacked by this admistration..they are not very american NOR are they very pro military..if so, they wouldn't of ended up fighting in Iraq...

good for you!

5. I've seem those yellow ribbon
stickers all over but I can't find any. Where are they sold? I've looked at gas stations and even went into WalMart thinking they would have them.

8. I found one at Michael's craft store where I bought the
magnetic sheeting. The other at the grocery store. Don't know if you have Shop-Rite but, I'm sure many will have them. Near the cash registers on a metal tree type display. Michael's price 3.99 Grocery store 1.99.

7. I have a ribbon that's half r,w, & b (like the flag). It has
"I love USA" in a heart shap in the middle. The other half is blue and says "Support America". Then, I have the yellow ribbon too that says "Support our troops". Then, I have my John Kerry sticker, my Vic Snyder sticker and, in the middle "NO MO BUSH!"

18. LOL. Water pistol.
I've had mine about a month. So far, I haven't gotten a whole lot of reaction at all. Good or bad. But, at least, I know I'm puttin' 'em out there.

13. Since March of last year
I've had a yellow around the tree in my front yard.

I've always had a flag poll.

And now I have a Kerry yard sign and an Obama yard sign.

Does tend to drive my RW neighbor nuts.

14. I thought "our" flag was the hammer and sickle
Seriously, good for you. Our neighbors have the typical Bush/Cheney Shrine thing going in their yard and I want to vomit everytime I drive past. Next thing you know, they'll be piping patriotic music out their front window.

17. I don't see many Kerry or Bush stickers but, lots of
yellow ribbons. Thought I'd spice it up a bit. As you can see Clark is near and dear to my heart and always will be.
