PHOTO Joe and the Parade....

I took about a 1,000 photos in Washington and most of them were :thumbsdown:.... :blush:

...but I loved this one just because it's Joe. I'm sure there are a million more just the same, and of a MUCH better quality, but it was a thrill to get any kind of shot of him. The announcer on the Avenue was praising him for walking all the way, so in response Joe started jogging in a Superman-kind of way, so the announcer upped the praise! Everyone was cracking up. He just looked SO thrilled by it all, that smile of his warmed us all....and we needed warming. Any way, here he is - is that a secret service guy in the yellow scarf, or is it a family member? If he's secret service I'm guessing he's thinking "how am I gonna keep up with this guy for four (EDIT: EIGHT!!) years?"

6. I remember that moment......

.... and the energy both Barack and Joe showed that day was so impressive. Esp. during that parade .... I got tired and I was sitting on a soft couch in a 72 degree thermostatically controlled environment. And yet there was Barack esp. for the WHOLE parade, STANDING and clapping and waving and smiling and waving and clapping and waving.

These men EAT stamina for breakfast. :)

and I don't care a thing about his "gaffs". It makes him more human and lovable, imo. Every chance the MSM gets, they just pound him. I wish they'd just lay off.

13. I think the guy in yellow scarf is Secret Service. Funny story Joe told

a few weeks ago about being in the train stain in Wilmington. People kept yelling out "Hey, Joey!" and similar greeting to him. Later an SS guy came up and asked him, do you always have so many people you know, and greeting you like that?! :)

The three waving toward the bottom of the picture are his 2 sons and daughter and I'm guessing Jill's hair is just over from Beau? Guessing the rest are SS? Don't really look like his brothers or sisters.
