...it's great to be home in DU!

I just mentioned in another thread that I took about 1,000 photos in Washington and most of them are so bad it's embarrassing :blush:. It's at times like this that I appreciate the talents of Callie Shell and Pete Souza even more, they're astoundingly brilliant.

Any way, I really missed DU while I was away....does that make me weird? (don't answer that)....but it was a truly magical week, one I'll never forget and will treasure forever. And I'm not even American, so I can only guess how you all felt :-)

I'll dig through my photos and see if there are any worth showing DU....gulp.

Actually, the one I 'like' is pretty poignant and depressing, a homeless guy on Inauguration night coming out of the Metro, all around him were ecstatic celebrations but, as you can see, he wasn't part of it.
