It has been eight years so I forgot about the confusion tactic
On MSNBC they just had on some "expert" from the Pacific xxx Institute (sorry didn't catch the full name but it was very benign) He was there to talk about the stimulus package and quickly went off on a tangent regarding health care funding, of which this bill did nothing, and this bill nor nothing proposed by Obama or the congress will fix the issue, the issue is not with funding the issue is with American's not having control of their health care dollars, Americans only control 15 cents on the dollar and companies control the rest thus what is being proposed by Obama and congress does nothing to solve the problem.

That was the basics of his "expert opinion" Get it! Main message is Obama and congress are doing nothing to solve the problem. Then when questioned he did let it slip that Tom Coburn (the least fucked up Senator from Oklahoma) has a solution, but well he isn't in power.

So the "Liberal" MSNBC provided an entire segment to an "expert" who did nothing other than display passive aggressive behavior and confuse the be jesus out of anyone who didn't know the "experts" agenda.

2. not a chance in hell
just a shrug and "he is not in power" You know, like the McCain solution for getting Bin Laden. He did occasionally throw in "tax cuts to get money back to consumers."

At least the anchors seemed a bit annoyed at the segment.

3. He was pushing something very similar to what McCain did during
the campaign: people get a tax credit, about $9,000, and they purchase their own healthcare.

4. The lobbyists are getting frustrated.
Obama is limiting their access so they're trying to appeal directly to the American people. I'm seeing so many policy commercials on the MSM.

I've no doubt that if I looked up this guy's institute that I'd find they're funded by the insurance industry.

5. Yep, the LAST thing they want is affordable, universal
coverage.
