Repukes will only support the stimulus if you extend the Bush tax cuts and cut out all of the
spending. Repukes hate this country!

...the world and America knows that the GOP way doesn't work long term.

3. YEAP!!! I thought this to be the case, has Boehner et al came out and said such out in the open?
If so Obama should go full bore into burring their ass's into the Bush doctrine and win even more seats in 2010.

I don't think Boehner has enough character to tear away from the non productive extremist elements of the GOP cause it makes up 75% of em.

9. I like that Obama's doing this now.
Everything is being covered by the media. Repugs are going on tv and voicing their opposition to everything. When Obama feels the citizens have had enough of repug obstruction, he will let repugs know they had their chance and go on without them.

11. You are so negative!
Clearly they do love some people. People that are already rich and intend to stay that way. They love big business and corporations too.

Hmmm if you don't have any income-heh you already have ZERO taxes. so no job is the Republicon dream. Clearly the unemployed must be the best off using Republicon logic. Though I'd agree they could stop taxing unemployment benefits-I bet they don't give a shitola about that.

12. From what I gather we really don't need their support
Edited on Tue Jan-27-09 03:23 PM by LynneSin
The house really can just go fuck themselves. The senate might have some issue but I would suspect a few moderate democrats like Snowe, Collins, Voinovich or Specter might helps us prevent the filibuster.

Any delaying on this package is only going to make the republicans look worse and the republican senate is not looking good for 2010.

and how Boehner continues to push their propaganda.

16. Boehner's a weakling.
He's the Harry Reid of the Republican leadership. Obama should be able to stand up to him and McConnell no problem.
