If We Are Going to EMERGE as The Most IMPORTANT PARTY In DECADES
We are going to have to RID OURSELVES of the LIKES of BLAGO and PATERSON, GILLIAND, BURRIS and BURNS.

No more Jefferson's with $90,000.00 dollars hidden in their freezer. WE'RE BETTER THAN THAT! WE'RE THE NEW DEMOCRATS!

Come on board and rejoice in the new, better than ever democratic party.

We can pull this off. WE ARE BETTER THAN THE SUM OF ALL OUR PARTS.

9. No, we are going to have to govern with sense and humanity. First we must attend to

the war crimes committed in the name of the USA by former officials. If we do not, we do not deserve to continue. We must stop catering to the GOPers, who only want more of the same (namely more and more corporate welfare and tax cuts) and we must go full steam to save the environment. Otherwise it will again be time for a change. I think this may be the dems last hurrah with many of us...it is with me. Personally if Obama is determined to preside from the center right, I wish we had Hillary. Despite what many here will admit, Hillary is far left of Bill or Barack. This is not an indictment of Obama; I am actually excited about his presidency, but I do not like his already exposed tendency to cater to the right wing to get consensus. I also am distressed by his signals that the Bushistas will not pay for their egregious crimes. We are talking about serious war crimes, not Watergate burglaries.

10. As good as that seems, they all have human traits.
Any group of humans will have the same flaws. Their is no purity nor perfection in humanity.

14. Well stated. There is no magic formula to
determine the real honesty/integrety of a person. The best we can do is to diligently seek out those that display those characteristics we find admirable. If our trust in a person is found to be misplaced, then we must take action to sever our relationship with that individual. JMO

13. "Most important party in decades?"
You do have some idea of how old the Democratic Party is, right?

Hint: Thomas Jefferson was our first Dem POTUS. Wild, ain't it?

15. you're a fucking joke
You're going to rid yourselves into the irrelevancy you flirted with for the last 8 years because you're mentally masturbating yourselves about how great you are. I can say "you" here rather than "we" because _you_ are _not_ the Democratic Party. Y'all need to grow up. "You" lost two of the most winnable Presidential elections in years (2000 and 2004, and don't whine about how the big bad Repubwickans stole it and pooped in your sandbox, that's politics, if you don't like it, step off the field) and are so busy being hip and Connected and out front that you're out of touch with reality. And if you think that Pres. O is as much of a simpleton as you all are, keep on thinking, although the strain is showing. Rid away - buh bye.

The fact that Dem Party hallmonitors had multiple orgasms about importing a celebrity with zero experience into the NY Senate so that the Party Hierarchy Could Be Preserved, and are having anal incontinence about how evil an NRA A-rating shows someone with a 93% record on abortion and other "progressive" issues is, shows how far the New Democrats have their heads pushed up their ass.

Have a nice day.
