I just picked up Chuck Todd's book about the election and it's pretty good so far. Any other books out about it already?

1. what about gwen ifill's book... politics in the age of obama or something.
i haven't read it, but i know that she got heat because she moderated the one debate and all. and everyone assumed she must be in the tank for obama because of the book.

2. That's a possibility
Looks interesting and it's kind of what I'm looking for, although I'm looking for more about the ins and outs of the 2008 election specifically.

Thanks for the suggestion.

3. I remember the Right Wing Nut Jobs (Hannity et al.) claiming
Ifil's book should have made her ineligible to moderate debate as an Obama victory would sky rocket her book to best seller status and she would make big bank. Wonder how that worked out.

5. What the right wing nutjobs didn't know was
that at the time Obama and McCain agreed to have Gwen Ifil as moderator of the VP debate it was public knowledge that she was working on that book. Actually, they may have known, but refused to admit that.

Who could complain about her ability to have a fair debate? Sarah Palin showed up and said she wasn't going to answer the questions, because she was going to speak to the American people. She would have not answered any questions from any moderator.

On edit: Isn't there also one by Newsweek that's supposed to come out? I remember a while back they published several articles about the election; I believe they were said to be excerpts of a forthcoming book.
