Ahem. Did Anybody Notice Those Big American Flags Flying All Over Villages In Africa?
Edited on Fri Jan-23-09 11:19 PM by Solomon
What a gorgeous beautiful sight! Wonderful. It filled me with pride. It's been a long time since we've seen the people of other countries gleefully waving our flag. And big ones too.

What a glorious sight to see. Stunning really. In Kenya they staged their own inauguration with an Obama look a like. LOL It was beautiful. But they weren't just celebrating Obama. They were celebrating America too. All those glorious American flags proves that. The entire world has to be astonished that for yet another time in our history, we are walking the walk.

1. You know...
I often wonder if our relations with African countries will change now. For so long (as long as I can remember) there has been this sort of political disconnect when talking about "Africa." It's like no one really cares about what happens there. Here's to hoping that this situation will change and we, as Americans, find out more about these countries and cultures. American flags flying in these African countries is such a nice sight to see.

3. I kept
:hi: Iwondering what was so odd about what I was seeing when it suddenly dawned on me that is was the waving of those big flags. Such a shock to the system to see that done by people in any country.

out of 6 billion people in the world, and the other 5,980,000,000 like Obama and want him to succeed. We have a lot of people on our side.
