Mike Malloy suprised me tonight

Usually Mike is keeps current on everything....but justa few minutes ago he took a call from someone who has apperently done alot of research on the TANG issue and was discussing this with him. In the middle of the conversation Malloy says that the documents that show Bush did not show up for duty are the CBS memos. As we all know, there is plenty of additional evidence, other than the memos, that show beyond a reasonable doubt that Bush did not fulfull his duties in the TANG, Alabama National Guard, and even the Guard in Mass. When the caller tried to explain this to Mike, Mike responds with really? Like he was unaware there is other evidence out there that shows Bush was AWOL besides the CBS memos.

This is not major news of course but I was a little suprised because Malloy is usually in the know with regards to politics.

Anyone else hear this?

Mike has to keep an enourmous, constantly-changing body of information in his mind at all times. When he's not talking about the stuff, he's reading about it from every source he can lay hands on so he can talk about the stuff.

Sometimes things get missed. It's probable that ol' Mike just doesn't give a giant crap about it. I sure as hell don't. I simply cannot get worked up about Bush's National Guard record with all the other things we're dealing with. I've tried, but I honestly don't give a good damn about it.

This is the dumbest election in the history of the universe, and this Guard crap is merely a craptactical tenticle stretching out from the maw.

No beef. Not important. 1,015 dead guys. Plus 20,000 other dead guys. No WMDs. Blown CIA agents. Chalabi. Abu Ghraib. Et-frikkin-cetera. I'm so bloody sick of debating campaign issues that all stem from television commercials.

I'll bet Mike is, too.

I think you are right.....i get that feeling listening to him...I guess many here are looking for the magic bullet that will make Bush fall in the polls....but Bush has committed so many horrible crimes and is so corrupt the past 4 years that the TANG issue is not newsworthy to him...
