I haven't been in the loop in a bit. What's happened?
Besides hurricanes bearing down on the Southeast, what, if anything, has happened in the past week? Has the Bush bounce that had people here jumping off bridges ended? Any positive Kerry news?

Thanks.

1. I'm on the same boat on that one.
We haven't really had any news other than W grandstanding in Ft. Pierce with his lil'bro and endless hurricane coverage.

2. Positive Kerry news? Boy, you HAVE been away, haven't you?
No positive Kerry news, compared with the nightmare swirling all 'round us. The CBS/Rather forgery scandal, if the docs prove to be forgeries. The bounce still present (but I expected that...too soon for it to go away yet), although there is some small sign here and there of it starting to go down. More battleground states have swung to Bush.

I tell myself that it MUST get better. Can anything more go wrong?

Personally, I'm waiting until the end of the week to assess how things are really going. I figure that's a long enough time for the bounce to start to really go down some, and the CBS/Rather scandal to level off in the news.

Kerry DID pick up the endorsement of the Police Officers' Association and the group of 9/11 widows (the New Jersey Girls, I think they are called). So THAT'S good news. The Repubs let the automatic weapons ban amendment expire, so maybe that'll help the Dems.

3. Jesus returned
And the rapture occured. Problem is, so few were found that truly followed his ways that no one noticed the few people that went missing :)

4. Didnt you hear? When he returned he began talking those
liberal points again, Rush slammed him on his show, Hannity tried to get him as a guest in an effort to defuse his liberal agendas, and then poof, he just seemed to vanish as if he never really existed, at least the media has not mentioned his dissappearence in the press releases from what I have been privy to coming from their highly overrated and highly uninformative sources.

5. Jeb anointed himself God,...
and put Nader on the ballot in Florida...I'd say that's pretty noteworthy.
