How's Hersh doing on Tweety?

1. I watched most of it. He is just incredible.

He gave a good exanple of hiw to handle tweety and how to protect sources (Kitty did not do that so well).

But it seems it was almost a way , having kitty and Hersh back to back with anonymous sources, toi try to discredit him.

Hersh made some heavy claims about non American lawless ope5ratives (he mentioned Jordanians and Canadians) kidnapping people and violating laws to try to get info and then said that coercive tactics NEVER work and get you bad intelligence.

He also said the degrading sexual pictures in Abu Ghraib were to blackmail young men to force them to become informants and to infiltrate "insurgent" cells.

also said it goes to the highest levels of intel -- secret ops = secret crewws who break laws.

2. do you know if hersh is getting much media attention?

i guess its pretty obvious he isnt, since people are talking either kk or memos, but i needed to ask because he says some very important stuff

3. yeah....

...Hersch made news several times. His understanding of the shadow world is deep. Once, Tweety tried to press him to give up a source, and he finally said "Don't press me on this." Tweety shut up.

4. For once, Mathews was more than respectful but with this

man when he talks, you almost must be, I was impressed by him and the respect that Mathews showed him. For anyone doubting that some are lying and that Iraq is winnable need only listen to this man for a short time.
