I feel so WHOLE today.
I feel complete though the battle is not won.

I watched him take the oath with my grandmother who had 76 years of tears flowing down her face. I can only imagine the thoughts going through her mind today.

When they showed Obama before he came onto the Capitol steps, you can tell that he was just taking in the entire moment. All eyes of the world was on him. And so stoic was he taking his time before he walked into history.

I smiled when little Malia and Sasha walked down the steps so poised and Malia taking pictures. Did I see some steps out for Sasha to stand on beside her family? SO CUTE.

What a ceremony - everyone knew that this day belong to the Obamas.

I was in the car going home and all of sudden I just started screaming "YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" over and over again.

And I see our new First Couple walk down Pennsylvania Avenue - WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY!!!

People sit and talk about historical moments but we know that this is indeed going to be replayed over and over for the rest of time. And I feel so lucky to witness this.

2. Thanks!!!
When I called my grandmother yesterday afternoon and told her I was coming over the watch the ceremony with her, she was very happy. And she was also very proud that I knew all the politicians on television and their positions :) I am just carrying on the torch.

I feel so inspired today. I feel like I need to do something to serve my community on the real!!!
