Has President Obama really changed?
Flipping through the channels, during the coverage I heard one of the fox news bimbos bantering with that idiot Brit Hume and between them they seemed to be saying something like "Conservatives think that maybe they can work with Obama" and are "willing to give him a chance." (Hume's words). Then the Bimbo weighed in with something like " The thing that's changed most since the early primaries, when Obama deftly allowed lefties to believe he was "one of them" is maybe Obama himself and that's change conservatives can believe in."

I don't think President Obama has really changed much, except that he seems more sober and less triumphal than during the primaries. But that's perfectly fitting, given the burdens he now bears.

2. Nope. They're just seeing him as he is instead of as the ridiculous Palin caricature of him.

3. "when Obama deftly allowed lefties to believe he was 'one of them'" No he hasn't changed.
He's still the one.

4. He has been totally consistent....
From the time he gave the keynote speech in 2004 to today.

I think he is being very much himself. I expected him to be very serious but he smiled a lot and seemed quite cheerful during the swearing in.

5. Voting records don't change, and his has always been fairly moderate. But...
...what he represents is OPPORTUNITY for Progressives, because he's willing to listen and be persuaded.

6. Seems right to me.
I still want to see him kick right-wing butt, personally, and not compromise too much with them at all.

7. The only way those RWers can justify cooperating with President Obama is by claiming that HE has
changed. The last thing they would admit is that they are changing or moving.
