"We will restore science to its rightful place"

I don't really care what the rest of the speech said (even though it was very good).

That one line, to me, says all I need to know.

We have the right man at the right time.

4. After 500 years, that's going to be a welcome event in the Americas!
But, you cannot bring back the destroyed civilizations, or the many cultures and languages that were exterminated!

5. He also included "non believers" as members of our country.
That was a warm fuzzy for me too.

9. It was HUGE for me
To even be acknowleged as a group ... my head is spinning and my heart is bursting. I don't expect believers to agree with me, I just want my voice to be heard, just like anyone else.

10. Oh Yes!!! We were cheering in my house! And that President Obama
recognized us unbelievers! I started to cry. It's so awesome that we finally have a president who is not a biased religious nut job. T

13. ..and two other great points
1) The President mentioned that everyone is entitled to their full measure of happiness.
2) We cannot compromise between our security and our principles.

I'm sure all three made the ex-President squirm.
