LIBERAL SUPREME Court Justices!
I hope Justices Stevens, Souter and Ginsberg all retire within 6 months. Load up the Supreme Court while we have the WH and Senate.

3. You want Stevens, Souter and Ginsburg to be impeached?
Scalia and Thomas - now they're another matter!

15. Scalia and Thomas yes the others I'm not sure of but certain
recent 5-4 decisions make my case.

12. The likelihood of any SC justice being impeached and removed is unlikely.
Only one SC justice was impeached. But the Senate did not convict.

Our best hope is for them to retire or resign. Six are 65 or older and eligible to retire with full pension. One has complained about the salaries of judges and might be encouraged to resign for a more lucrative position. Another might be encouraged to resign to avoid playing an insignificant role on the court. Which leaves Alito remaining.

If only a real African-American were a SC justice instead of Thomas just filling the spot.

4. That'd be nice, but I doubt any of the conservative justices will retire while a Democrat controls
the WH and Senate.

6. Roberts, Scalia are Chimp's crap appointments.
They were after money. Chief Justice Roberts is whining about the salary the justices make for those decisions.

Let him leave. For working in a private firm paying him millions for whatever he wants to do, and that he's what he is looking for.

11. Bush only appointed Roberts and Alito. Reagan appointed Scalia.
The last 4 presidents currently have 2 appointments on the court with Ford having one.

5. And Fat Albert, and the Alito and Roberts suddenly decided to resign
for lucrative money somewhere else, since they are whining about money and all.

Uncle Tom would be a bonus.

9. Don't forget Clarence Thomas. He might not enjoy being a justice
if enough of the others are replaced and make him very much irrelevant.

16. You don't understand the original Freudian concept of anal retention psychosis

The child attempts to punish the parent by sitting on his potty chair and not relieving his own bowels.

By which I mean Scalia & Thomas won't leave the bench until they're dead.

8. No no NO!! The time period for them resigning should be based on...
them being replaced as close as possible to the end of his term. That would be the best scenario because then hopefully the youngest eligible and qualified judges would be appointed and be there for many many years.

But, considering that some may want to on their own retire then let that happen.

And replacing Stevens (89), Souter (70) and Ginsberg (76) would not necessarily load up the court. It would if Scalia (73), Kennedy (73), and Breyer (71) were replaced while Obama was President.

Justices can retire at 65 with full pension.

If the above justices could be replaced during Obama's presidency that would make the other three justices impotent and irrelevant.
