It is a good idea in concept. What is worrisome to me, frankly speaking, is that under this new Administration, federal (and possibly local) law enforcement will again be heavily politicized. (Recall the halcyon days of the Clinton Administration.) As such, an FR gathering would enable politically zealous LEA officials to very easily gather names and collect information on and about the attendees.

Perhaps some would call me paranoid, but I would not attend based on the foregoing.


Right... Because the Democrats were behind warrantless wiretapping, investigating and placing spies in anti-war groups, COINTELPRO; need I go on?

5. I did hedge on that one...
but I needed three for my list. My point is they support every bit of lawlessness when it comes to suppressing US, but then fear it will be used on them.
