Kids pic up on a persons energy and reflect it back. And Obama really loves kids, you see it in his face with not only his own, but any kid that is in front of him.

8. I went through that a bit last Thursday

PE Obama was at the Washington Post giving an interview, and I stood outside for almost an hour in the really, really cold weather to see him coming out. I'm not going down to the inauguration, so it was my chance to see him. He was in an SUV about 10 feet away from me, waving to the crowd that had assembled. It was worth the wait.
