Paging Will Pitt and/or Kerry campaign insiders

Don't know if you can help with this one, but here goes:

Would it be possible to get Dem_Strategist back on DU for a "one -shot deal", if for no other reason than to give us an update on how he feels the campaign is going?

I think a) it would be great insight and b) may put some people's minds at ease, at least temporarily. :)

Excuse the request if I'm being unreasonable, or if the request is impossible.

2. I think that sounds like a reasonable request
I've been wondering what Dem_Strategist is thinking of the Kerry campaign too.

7. Bingo!
He sure didn't do anything to help my confidence in the direction of the Kerry campaign. Just the opposite in fact.

8. As opposed to 20,00 armchair DU strategists??

Sorry, but if he's in the campaign I want to hear what he has to say.

Good, bad, ugly - I can then make decisions predicated on information that is at least coming directly from some part of the campaign.

He could be a little less cryptic this time, though. :)

9. I don't think he was in the campaign
i believe in one of his last posts he said he was NOT actually in the campaign but working for the party or something like that. i did not mean to make fun of your post. i read what he/she had to say but disagreed vehemently about the response to the sbl's attacks on kerry.

6. People here...
...aren't really "down on Kerry" so much as frustrated that he's behind in the polls. This election is so important, our anxiety is a natural reaction to the fact that Bush is at least slightly ahead. But the criticism of the Kerry campaign comes from our desire that he win, not that we don't want him to.

5. really what's the use?
"The sky is falling" folks will freak out with the next negative poll and the "Everything is fine, don't worry" folks will be in their utopian world regardless of anything anybody says until election day.

People who are in the middle between these two extremes will probably stay there--being cautiously optimistic but hoping that Kerry would begin to hammer Bush more on Terrorism.
