Went to Edwards Rally at UNR
John Edwards was at the University of Nevada Reno yesterday and he had 6-7 thousand people there. The advance team were excited, said it was way better than expected and that Nevada, especially Northern Nevada is absolutely tied, but the momentum is on our side. We are registering more new Dems than repukes everyday. He was awesome. We were right up front assisting with the disabled. They are hopeful and excited. One of the Edwards team said that being tied was great for the challenger right now because if an incumbent is only 2pts ahead at this time he is basically behind. * needs to be 4pts ahead of the moe to really be ahead, and one guy said that there were 49 days left until Nov 2 and in the political world that is a life time. Get out the vote!!!!

1. I love how there was almost NO notice ahead of time...
...else I would have gone. I had class up at TMCC at that time.

2. good report there and you are right
registering new voters or voters who have not gone to the polls in a while is essential. The next step is to get them to vote.

3. Kerry/Edwards draw thousands at their rallies
Edited on Tue Sep-14-04 12:42 PM by HughBeaumont
Edwards on his own draws thousands (guess that kills the whole 'likability' issue).

400,000 protested * at the RNC.

200,000 protested *'s impending decision to go to Iraq.

*/>8S are lucky to draw a grand of handpicked genuflecting snivelers at each stop.

And yet, The Snarling Evil Dave Thomas and Lancelot Link STILL LEAD the damned polls/electorals.

WHY??

4. Thanks for that report!! How often have Edwards or Kerry
been in Reno? Are they ever returning there? I should pay attention shouldn't I ... *shame*

I live over the Mt. near San Fran..it wouldn't be such a big deal to make the drive to Reno. I'm starved for "Kerry/Edwards Energy"

I LOVE NEVADA! Go Silver State for Kerry!! :bounce:

5. This is why
I cannot believe the polls. So many hate Bush and so many have been hurt by his policies that I cannot believe there is anyone left to support him. Only the wacko's are able to close their eyes to the evil these people have brought upon this nation. The manipulation of the polls is only the latest of evil deeds.
