Bush Pardon Prediction
In an attempt to miss the news cycle and to take advantage of the Inauguration attention afterwards, I think they're coming Sunday, early afternoon.

You know some pardons are coming - just too much 'sensitive' information - and in this post I won't speculate as to who and why, but feel free. I'm just making a call on when.

This way, they avoid the Sunday morning political shows from making it a major topic, and there are football playoffs, and two days of long-awaited festivities to follow. Most news will be about the new Administration afterwards.

Like Father, like Son.

1. Don't they have to be processed during "banker's hours?"

Since all but the final """""""essential"""""" staff are gone as of Friday 9PM, I think they are coming right about then... Or, rather they will be announced then, but filed earlier that day...

3. You Know We Need A Gambling Pool on DU
We could all place a Dollar bet and the closest to the press release time wins.

Personally, I think the pardons will be at the very last minute in the hope that they WON'T get the press coverage and evaluation they deserve.

The whole smokescreen....we have done nothing wrong....so there is nothing to pardon...is just so much crap.

4. I think, pre-dawn hours Tuesday morning. Or very late Monday night.
The news of the Commander-in-Thief's pardons will be lost among news of Obama's inauguration. If it were to happen Sunday night or Monday morning the media would have a whole day to cover it. Dumbass Bush is going to wait until the very last minute.
