President Obama, assuming he follows recent tradition and addresses a joint session of Congress after he is inaugurated, has the pilot in the audience.

Bush I, Clinton and Chimpy all delivered what were generally described in the media as state of the union addresses in the first month or so after taking office. While chimpy theoretically could have given the state of the union address for 2009 before leaving office (which is what a number of other presidents, including Carter, did), he hasn't done so (thankfully) and that leaves the field open for Obama to make an address to a joint session sometime between now and President's Day. It won't technically be a state of the union address, but it wouldn't surprise me if its treated that way and it wouldn't surprise me if, keeping with recent tradition, Obama had some notable invited guests, including that pilot, in the audience. The pilot deserves the recognition, imo.
