Meet the Guy who is going to put on a show at the Holder Hearing tomorrow

Anthony S. Senft who recently retired from the NYPD bomb squad sits in his home in Bohemia, N.Y., Monday, Jan. 12, 2009. Senft's life changed forever when a bomb set by Puerto Rican separatists exploded, blowing him 15 feet in the air and blinding him in one eye. Now, he's angry that the former U.S. official who played a key role in awarding clemency to the bombers, Eric Holder, is President-elect Barack Obama's choice to run the Justice Department as attorney general.

1. Seems to me Holder was carrying out his boss's orders.

3. and people often forget what "clemency & pardons" are all about

You pardon people who have done BAD things.. you offer clemency to people who have done BAD things, but who have reformed themselves or who have some redeeming qualities..

You don't need to pardon people who are upstanding citizens, guilty of no wrongdoing.

Many times people get clemency, who do not deserve it, but even that is subject to interpretation..I may think someone deserves clemency, and someone else may think they do not.. It's a judgement call..and Holder was NOT Atty Gen or president.. he probably investigated (as he was assigned to do), presented his findings, and that was it..

2. Shouldn't he take that up with Bill/Hillary Clinton? Holder was doing job asked of him.
