Bush to address National Guardsman Tuesday
Edited on Tue Sep-14-04 03:49 AM by npincus
"Bush was not expected to address the controversy swirling around unexplained gaps in his service in the Texas Air National Guard in his address to the 126th National Guard Association of the United States conference Tuesday in Las Vegas."

I wonder if he'll wear his flight suit?

1. With the stuffed sock in his crotch?
I wonder if he'll wear his flight suit?

Why not? We all seem to have been bitten by the militarism bug.

If Bush had any decency, he would apologize to the Guard for the hardship they had to endure in the lengthy deployments in this misguided "war on terror."

2. why are military people always fawning over bush?
Bush never goes to speak anywhere unless a very receptive crowd awaits.

3. He is going to be greeted with a big, fat protest.....
I know, because I am going to be one of them. I hate it when they come to town....Cheney was here last week. It leaves such a bad smell, for days.

5. Punkingal, are you getting into the hall where he is speaking?
I would love to see him speak and get ZERO applause. He certainly deserves no respect from the Guard.

7. Getting no applause would probably
more effective than a screaming protester in the Hall. Can't you see it? Total Silence.I can picture his face now, at first frowning ,then wondering what's going on, then anger, maye more B* ism's,

I'd love to see it

8. No, of course not....
I'm known as the "Las Vegas woman who got in Karl Rove's face" when he was here in July...they wouldn't let me in there for sure.

4. Bush to meet with the National Guard Association?
What a joke. What`s next? A meeting with Iraqi grave diggers or maybe a luncheon with Greenpeace?
